My New Site Is Up!

Today I am going live with a new improved site, and launching everyday j, WordPress style. I’m having a little bit of difficulty making it do what I could do easily before when I was using dreamwearver, namely, post mostly pictures, but I’m getting there, and am convinced now that the benefits to the wordpress set-up are many and far reaching . Amoung them: auto-archiving, searchability, rss feed, clean code… The cons at the moment are: learning a whole new system, trouble making a graphic-rich environment… I just signed up for a Flickr account after P and Lib recomended it and I found a number of wordpress plug-ins that integrate Flickr into WordPress. There’s no point to the zebra pic other than I like it and feel like text blogs are just too boring without some images.
