Wordpress Resources

in site stuff

Here are two sites full of Wordpress resources.

And a few Essential Plugins Lists.

Here are most of the plugins from the above lists, with the ones that are listed by each at the top, along with how many times they are listed.

I started out just trying to figure out the best Analytics plugin and am left trying to decide between one of these.

At the end of the day, there are still a lot of resources out there I couldn’t get to but would like to at some point.

Great list, Jason! I’ve been meaning to check out what plugins I should install on my blog, but I didn’t feel like digging through all the options. : )

Nice list! For higher education related Wordpress goodness, you might also check out some of the discussion in the UWEBD Ning forum: http://cuwebd.ning.com/group/wordpress/forum

Definitely worth checking out and contributing to Jay Collier’s running Google Spreadsheet of WP plugins other folks have found useful at their school: http://bit.ly/euXTf

Definitely. Thanks Adam. Will do.

Thanks. Yeah… it’s dizzying. It’s so exciting to be able to use all of these with our blogs… and daunting. As I found out, it’s hard to keep it to a dozen plugins. Many ‘essential’ lists go to 30+. There are so many worthwhile extensions!

J! Hope you’re well. I like google analyticator for Analytics; lots of great features there, and it’s very up-to-date. Ultimately, I went with a manual install, as it gives me more ability to customize the code.
