Her twitchy frog legs do a sort of restless retraction on their own so I held her up and she started stepping, backwards. When she tries to go forward she steps on her toes. Backward is easier.

Mom, Maile, Anais and I took a walk up to Amy’s Ice Cream thisafternoon. The South by Southwest music festival was in full bloom. Anais was ready for the hipsters. So was Townes.

Anais usually smiles at mirrors… unless daddy is also trying to take her picture.

Perhaps she’s beginning to teethe, but her favorite snack these days has become finger sandwiches.
We haven’t introduced her to any foods yet, but we did put together her high chair. I also tried her out on the porch swing yesterday.

Maile and Anais enjoyed a gorgeous day by laying out on a blanket in the yard and soaking up the sun.

Papa Joe snapped this AWESOME pic of baby A with the Godfather statue in his office today as Anais was making the rounds at Cooper.
