I saw Sub Oslo, a dub band from Denton, lastnight. They’re great. It was sold to me as their last show, but I found out half-way through that they are just losing their bass player, and they are going to find a way to go on.

I, and a few other wonderful singer/songwriters, have the privilege of performing our songs, tomorrow, Sunday evening, with the Hill Country Strings. Come out to the lovely Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center for an hour-long concert starting with songwriters (Tony Scalzo of Fastball, Robert Harrison formerly of Cotton Mather, Karla Manzur of Deep Edward, Mo Pair of Grass), followed by a few exotic classical pieces played by the quartet. Come out early to stroll the beautiful wildflower garden and grounds. The website says that “late March through early May is usually the showiest time of the year for Texas wildflowers,” so it should be spectacular.
